The rules and guidelines for the ANTI-RAIN VACATION GUARANTEE are as follows:

  1. The guarantee concerns bungalow holidays of 14 days or longer and camping holidays of 3 weeks or longer, both at an RCN centre, which begin on Friday, 2 July 2010 or any of the Fridays thereafter and which end on Friday, 27 August 2010 or any of the Fridays before that date. The holidays must have been reserved before 1 June 2010.
  2. The first 12 days of the stay – from the Friday of arrival through the Tuesday of the second week – are the period taken into consideration for the guarantee.
  3. A rain day is considered any 24-hour period (GTM time = meteorological time) during which it rains at least 4 hours, with a level of precipitation at least 1 mm (measured with a pluviograph).
  4. The KNMI in De Bilt will establish, for each recreation centre separately, whether a day is to be considered a rain day. This will take place based on regional data. The points for measurement are therefore not at the centres themselves. All information supplied by the KNMI is binding for all parties concerned.
  5. More than 5 rain days means 6 or more rain days.
  6. A possible discount of €100.00 on your RCN holiday in 2011 will be given in the from of a discount coupon for a bungalow holiday of 14 days or longer or a camping holiday of 3 weeks or more at an RCN centre in July and/or August 2011. These holidays must be reserved before 1 June 2010.
  7. The ANTI-RAIN VACATION GUARANTEE applies also to bungalow or camping holidays reserved for a longer period, if at least 2 or 3 weeks, as the case may be, are in July or August. If this is July, then the last 12 days are the period taken into consideration. If this is August, then this period is the first 12 days.
  8. The ANTI-RAIN VACATION GUARANTEE does not apply to campers with pup tent rates, seasonal or part-time seasonal rates, or caravan agreements.
