Cycling and walking
There is a trail from RCN de Roggeveld that leads straight into the Drents-Friese Wold, where you can go on beautiful walks through the woods, heath and sand drifts. The many cycling paths make exploring the park by bicycle all the more attractive. We have bike rental available for our guests.
Trips in the surrounding area
Within walking distance from RCN de Roggeberg lies the atmospheric village of Appelscha, which has many places of interest including Kookmuseum De Vleer. Other quaint hamlets and villages nearby are Donkerbroek, Fochteloo, Waskemeer, Haule and Nijeberkoop.
