Are all of RCN's holiday parks open?
All our holiday parks in the Netherlands are open
There is a code orange/red in my country or region, and I'm not permitted to travel to the holiday park I booked. Do I get a voucher then?
If RCN is able to provide its services, but you are unable to travel because there is a code orange or red in the area in which you live, RCN will not issue a voucher and the standard cancellation terms & conditions will apply. You may, however, be able to claim on your travel or cancellation insurance.
Can I change my holiday if RCN has to close the holiday park I've booked because of corona?
Yes, at RCN you can switch your holiday once at no extra charge to one of our other parks. To change your holiday, get in touch with us on: +31 85 0400 700. * Under the standard booking amendment rules, switching your holiday is permitted subject to availability and as long as it is for the same dates and no less than three days before arrival. Changing your holiday is free, with the exception of any extra costs due to a difference in price. No refunds will be made if the new booking is cheaper, however.
The booking can only be changed to other dates if the reason for the change is because the park has to close because of corona.
If my holiday can't go ahead because RCN has had to close the park I booked, do I get a voucher?
Yes, if RCN has to close the park because of a code red or orange in the region (all our parks are currently open), the voucher scheme will become applicable again with similar terms & conditions as the previous recreation voucher. The voucher represents a value with which a new stay can be booked at RCN. If your stay at the park has not yet begun, the value of the voucher is for the amount that you have already paid. If RCN has to stop its service provision during your stay, the value of the voucher will be for the rental price for the remaining days of the booking, exclusive any additional items booked. The recreation voucher cannot be requested if there is a code red or orange, but our parks are permitted to remain open. You may, however, be able to claim on your travel or cancellation insurance.
