In the cosy shopping centre of Epe there are all kinds of things to be experienced, especially in the summer. The De Hoge Veluwe National Park is home to hundreds of red deer, moufflons, roe deer and wild pigs in an area as large as 5,500 hectares. It is definitely worth visiting for a great day out or for various day-trips.
From RCN de Jagerstee, you can go on a variety of interesting trips. In the heart of the De Hoge Veluwe National Park, you will find the Kröller-Müller National Museum, world renowned for its Van Gogh collection. Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn, with its beautiful gardens and unique historical furnishings, reflects the historical tie of the house of Orange-Nassau with the Netherlands. There is even more to do, with the De Veluwsche Stoomtreinmaatschappij steam railway line in Apeldoorn, the Anton Pieck museum in Hattem, Walibi World and the Dolphinarium.
Swimming
By heating our outdoor swimming pool by solar energy, we are certainly contributing to preserving ‘our’ scenic beauty, which is good for your holiday enjoyment too, now and in the future. We also have a separate pool for young children.
If you feel like a day at the beach, you can go to the Veluwestrand, Strand Nulde and Strand Horst, which are located nearby. A great opportunity for surfing, sailing or just relaxing.
