La Caverne du Pont d’Arc

The replica of the painted cave Pont d’Arc, otherwise known as the Grotte Chauvet is well worth a visit. Go back to prehistoric times with the 36,000-year-old wall paintings. The cave has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014.

In the modern visitors’ centre, you can find out more about your forefathers and you can see other finds from the cave, like flints and the bones of cave bears.
