Clear water lake side campsite.

Only a stop over for us but would highly recommend and few would definitely go back. The facilities are immaculate in a beautiful setting.

A nice place for staying more than one day. In the naberhood there are interesting places and things to visit.

We had a great time, Pitch was a little hard to get one to due to the size of our van and the amount of road to turn in but we got there. only problem we had was at the restaurant as English was not spoken by anyone. We have managed to get through a month in Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic without any problems not everyone spoke English but made the extra help to order what we wanted. So at your restaurant we had problems ordering our meal, so didn't stay in the bar.

Disabled camping and a very good site

Very professional and helpful booking staff. Very considerate of disability needs and disabled facilities very good once we found out we needed a special key to get in. The pitch facilities are very good (water and grey waste), but it would be better if the ground on which the van was positioned was level throughout, obviating the need for levelling chocks. Definitely would return; it was the best campsite we visited in Germany. Unfortunately, the campsite restaurant was closed, which was rather unfortunate in the summer season of the Euro football championships, and the internet connectivity was a bit random at times, especially during the storms. Would definitely recommend it. It is a very nice, family-friendly, and peaceful site. Site rules need to be handed out on arrival.

Lakeside View

Easy to book, pick your own pitch, beautiful surroundings, clean , facilities excellent and modern, staff very informative and friendly . However The wifi signal is poor because the site is in a conservation area. You cannot have everything in life ! Thank you! we had a wonderful time.

Camping enroute to Cologne

RCM Laacher See was very good with great facilities. The only 2 issues were only one working electric car charger and the restaurant being closed all day on a Tuesday: that was crazy and very disappointing.

May holidays

We were on the camping for short May holidays with my family in a tent. The pitch was very nice with electricity and water for each area. Sanitary absolutely perfect clean. Huge camping with all comfortables, directly on the lake. I strongly recomend this place. Also the people on the reception are very helpful and kind. Very peacefull place for stay with small shop, fresh bread in the morning available and even the restaurant. About one hour from Köln. Great place for holidays!

Short stop at RCN Laacher See

One night stop travelling from Italy. View of the lake from our pitch pity about the building to left which restricted slightly. Didn't use any of the facilities apart from sanitary block. The park road system is one-way but doesn’t show this on the plan. Toilet block was clean. Good area for sitting or sunbathing by the lake it looks great for a swim also.

Nice but..

Very pleasant terraced campsit meaning every pitch had a view to the lake. However, as we were to be a late arrival and paid in advance for our overnight stay, the company called me back to say that there would be an envelope outside reception with my name and allocated pitch. There was only an envelope in somebody else's name and the pitch numbered was taken. We found a vacant pitch and stayed there overnight. I was surprised that the number that I had spoken to them on 3 times was not answered at 7pm.

Nice campingplatz

RCN Laacher See is totally recommended, the surroundings are wonderful and very appropriate for hiking, supermarket at 11 minutes by car, Lava-Dome is an unmissable visit, the lake is great, facilities are clean and well maintained.

Wonderful stay

It was extremely hot while we were at Lacher See and the lake was fabulous to swim in. The pitch was a good size and we were at the top so it was fairly quiet but if you want peace and tranquility probably not the site for you, but there was very little overnight noise. Facilities were great and staff were very helpful.

Glorious five nights at RNC Laacher See

An exceptional site; staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, facilities were very, very clean, the pitch was an excellent size for VW camper and tent , shop/takeaway/restaurant very of a very high standard, location is perfect - we wished we had stayed longer. I would highly recommend this site and hope to be back soon. Thank you!

A good stopover on route to Southern Germany. Plenty to see and do in the area so will return in the future.

Recommended to visit

I was surprised how well organized was the checking process. We arrived around 1 am. And everything was organized for pur arrival. The staff at the front desk was nice and of course the lake view in the morning was a great experience. Clean and well maintained. NOTE: I never received an answered after several support requests by email..only by phone.

Fantastic location and campsite

We had a space on the second row but still had a view of the lake. Very clean facilities and lovely friendly staff. Swimming in the lake was perfect . V happy
