We have special pitches on the camping site in Chaam so that you can drive your motorhome in and out easily. All pitches are surrounded by greenery, have a 10 amp electricity connection and a TV connection and wherever you are, there’s always toilet and wash facilities nearby. Less able guests are also very welcome and we have adapted showers and toilets.

 

Use of WiFi is free. 

 

*In the winter period, book the Camper Pitch with private sanitary facilities at the park.

Great holiday
We had never been to an RCN camp so didn't know what to expect. We however loved it! Our camper pitch was perfect, spacious and clean and all the facilities were close enough and clean. The showers were great! The facilities around the park were great but my only reservation was the indoor pool. Although it was nice, it was far too busy and there was no supervision or monitoring. Although you had to scan your qr code to get in and there was a limit to how many people were allowed, others were easily able to find a way to get in and as there was no supervision, children were going a bit crazy and to be honest it felt really unsafe. My children are good swimmers but I would never have taken a younger child in there. This was the only thing though and everything else was great!

Nice campsite some issues
We stayed at a different rcn campsite for 5nights prior to arriving at this one which we couldn't fault so its a shame this one didn't quite meet the standard. Toilets by the park/ train station were always in a poor state. Our shower/toilet block was also closed for long periods during the day for cleaning. The toilet block area seemed to be a central point for teenagers to hang around and mess around it was like showing in the middle of a football pitch the first night. The staff were all very nice though and the kids enjoyed the slides on the lake.

Very nice pitch. Location good. Plenty to do. Ok if you got bicycles. Supermarket tad expensive.

''The outdoors' is good for our health and the Flaasbloem is just the place to bo if you want to recharge your batteries. We have beautiful accommodations but the Finnish Lodge is my favourite. It still feels like camping, close to nature, but with so much comfortt and ambiance.
