Napoleon’s presence is still felt in and around Grenoble. A walk of the beautiful, historic city of Grenoble followed by a visit to Château de Vizille and its park is well worth the effort. In the summer it’s possible to ride ponies here and to enjoy a picnic in the playground. An ideal day out for the kids.
