Super Wochenende

Nach dem Sommerurlaub im Klipper haben wir uns für ein Wochenende im Chalet 34 entschieden. Für ein Wochenende ideal, meine Frau konnte auf der Terrasse lesen und ich habe den ganzen Tag geangelt. Für uns war es Erholung pur. So wollten wir das. Die Unterkunft war für 2 Personen für das Wochenende ideal. Kurze Wege zu Brasserie und am letzten Tag gab es sogar Brötchenservicevor die Tür.

We enjoyed our holiday at du Potten. Staff were very good and helpful. Some not so good points - We got flooded on the pitch. There is a hollow in the ground and it filled with water. Staff responded well with help. The welcome pack was not very informative. The tall trees block out the sun. Overall, site was good.

Good pitch near water

We like to view across the water of our pitch. We like that the water access was so close. We like to have a tap nearby. We thought the grass was too long and made it very wet and slimy. We thought the toilet block was very good. I use a wheelchair and I thought the disabled facilities were very good. We thought there was some lovely walks around the area. We used the café for one of our lunches and it was very yummy. The staff were really helpful when I was organising my booking. They responded well and quickly.

Space for improvement but would come again

Absolutely lovely place, friendly staff. The only thing that can improve is the cleanliness of the house. The major things were obviously cleaned (floors, kitchen, tables, bathroom and toilets) however, when you took a closer look, there was long-time dirt (around the light switches, in the corners of the shower there was even black mold, around the windows, etc. This gave me a little less comfortable feeling of touching things ... But, then again, I have cleaned myself what i wanted to be sure of being clean, and I would come again.

Looking for water

The water tap was very far from where we stood. We found a tap at the servicehouse. That tap was the only one i our area. The lack of watertaps was in all of the camping. The sanitary needs a proper refreshment..

Peaceful break

We enjoyed a relaxing time at RCN De Potten watching those with boats going back and forward. Excellent facilities, tasty bread in the morning and the takeaway was useful when we didn't want to cook. It is about 6km to cycle into Sneek which we did a few times and just enjoyed pottering around this clean and pleasant Dutch town.

Disappointment and mismanagement

It was a very unpleasant experience. During the day everything was fine but in the evening our neighbours started behaving like they own the place, decided to stay up drinking till 1am, screaming, launching items at the neighbour villas... Sadly there was absolutely no security on the territory to calm them down and remind of the rules of cohabitation. RCN is definitely not a good location for a relaxing time, no. It is more like a place you go with your 20 friends to get drunk and vomit in the bushes.

Heerlijk ontspannen

Zeer mooi huisje met een gaaf uitzicht over het pottenmeer.Maar ook het potten meer geeft veel mogelijkheden voor jong en oud. Vriendelijk personeel. Wij komen zeker een keer terug!

Family holiday

We had two cottages rented and they were way beyond our expectations! They were comfortable and well stock for 6 people in each cottage. Tit was beautiful to sit outside with our morning coffee and see the beautiful canals andcenjoy the outside A swim was perfect too
