Lovely stay in a comfortable cabin with amazing view!
The Klipper was perfect for us, providing everything we needed for a great stay. The view was amazing and the site was well-maintained and quiet (so we slept really well). Check-in and out was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful.
One small suggestion: the onsite shop could be better stocked. There are plenty of supermarkets in Sneek but it would have been good to be able to pick up some milk, sandwiches or other essentials on-site.

lovely stay
From England and We stayed for 3 nights overlooking the lake. Lovely peaceful site with excellent facilities and a great bar/brasserie. Sneek a short bike ride approx 15-20mins away. Met some friends who arrived by boat at the brasserie and gave us a fantastic boat trip around Sneek. We are already looking at dates to return in 2026.

Great camping house on stilts, lovely place to rent a sailing boat
We had a great 3 day stay in one of the camping houses that overlook the lake. A nice cosy house for 4 x people with a good balcony and facilities. Leonard at the RCN sailing school was very helpful and we had a great day sailing on the network of lakes with an RCN Polyvalk traditional sailing boat + outboard motor. The toilet / shower block in the Jachthaven / Marina where we camped was new, very high quality and very clean.
