At RCN het Grote Bos, campers are offered a range of possibilities. Small or large camping fields, camping pitches in the woods, pitches for campers on a bike holiday as well as pitches for camper vans.

The camping pitches at RCN het Grote Bos are generously sized (approx. 100 to 135 m2), ensuring plenty of privacy, so you will always find a quiet spot to take a nap. All transient camping pitches have a central aerial connection.

There are 4 heated sanitary buildings spread across the park, which means the sanitary facilities are always close by.

Disabled guests are also welcome as we have special facilities, such as wheelchair-friendly showers and toilets, to cater to their needs.

For real die-hards: you can pitch your tent or park your mobile home at our park in winter during weekends and school holidays. You can even rent a pitch for the whole winter season. Please ask the reception desk for more details.

Nice showers and area. Very messy ground under the trees. Husband had his phone stolen which spoilt the holiday. Otherwise good site for families

Wonderful first experience camping as a family in The Netherlands
We had an amazing time at Het Grote Bos with our 4 year old twins. There was so much to do, the facilities were always immaculate, and the programme of activities was immense. A dozen playgrounds to explore, a waterpark, obstacle courses, bike rental... The restaurant on site was also great, and the little market that was there one day. Staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Wet will be back next year for sure! The only negative was that our pitch was perpendicular to all the others and right next to tyke main path through our camp site so felt a bit restricted and busier than we'd have liked. Next time we'll pay to choose our own pitch.

Heerlijke vakantie

Fantastic stay is a well run and maintained site.
The site is very well managed and tidy, with amble facilities for the number of pitches. Bowling was good, and the bar is nice with a playground outside. Entertainment was provided on certain nights but we did not attend. The circus that was on site was very good and enjoyed by all. The only negative, which is not a fault of the park, was that a series of wolf attacks in the area meant that we had to avoid some of our planned cycle routes with our child and dog.

A warm welcome

"The Grote Bos is a charming location. The hills of the Heuvelrug can still be seen and felt in our park and the landscape and the surroundings always reveal something new. Taking a holiday in the Grote Bos is to enter a different world."
