Your role
One of our guests’ favourite activities is swimming. Jumping in or diving into the water, or competitions to see who is first to the other end. As the lifeguard you make sure that they can enjoy water-play in the swimming pool safely and without any worries.
What you will be doing
You will maintain continuous supervision over our guests’ safety. Always with a big smile on your face. You will point out the swimming pool rules politely but also will enjoy chatting to them. As a true water hero you will immediately spring into action if necessary and give first aid, resuscitation and/or rescue anyone in difficulties in the pool. In addition, you will verify that all the safety resources are in place and that the personal equipment is in good order. You will keep a logbook up to date, check the slide and the associated steps for unsafe situations and hygiene. You will also be sure to give the guests a warm welcome and whenever necessary help out at reception or on the till. Obviously, you and your colleagues will look after cleaning and tidying up the swimming pool and grounds.
