Nant is the place and municipality where the campsite is. The town dates back from the 10th century and was founded by a Benedictine monk. It is well worth a visit for its rich heritage. You can visit the monastery church dating from the 11th and 12th century, for example, the five Roman churches spread around Nant. The town hall and the great hall are also worth a visit. Every Tuesday there’s a market where you can buy delicious, fresh, local products but there are also very nice restaurants in Nant.
