Making or changing a booking

General information

What are the cancellation terms at RCN? 

Bookings at RCN holiday parks are subject to the RECRON terms and conditions. 

You can cancel your booking free of charge within 48 hours of making it (cooling-off period). After that, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 3 months in advance: 15% of the agreed price.
  • 2–3 months in advance: 50% of the agreed price.
  • 1–2 months in advance: 75% of the agreed price.
  • Within 1 month: 90% of the agreed price.
  • On the day of arrival: 100% of the agreed price.

Preference fees are always charged in full.

To limit financial risks, you can take out cancellation insurance. With a valid reason, you will then be reimbursed the full trip cost.

What can I add to my reservation? 

At many of our holiday parks it is possible to book extras, such as towels, a bed-making service or a baby cot or high chair. The offerings may vary by park. You can easily add available extras when making your booking via the MijnRCN app or by contacting us.  A cancellation insurance policy can be added up to a maximum of 10 days after your booking.  If you do not yet have a MijnRCN account, an account will be created for you automatically after you complete your booking. You will receive an email from us with instructions on how to log in to the MijnRCN environment.

What does the RCN cancellation insurance cover and what is insured? 

With the RCN cancellation insurance you are covered if you have to unexpectedly cancel your holiday or cut it short. You can easily take out the insurance while booking or up to 10 days afterwards.

The insurance reimburses (part of) the travel cost for example in case of illness, an accident, death in the family or other valid reasons.  

The premium is 5.5% of the travel sum (excl. 21% insurance tax). The insurance can be taken out for up to 4 accommodations or pitches per reservation. Read here for more about our cancellation insurance and the policy conditions.

May my assistance or guide dog come to the holiday park? 

Yes, guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs are welcome at our holiday parks. You do not pay a pet fee for assistance dogs.

Assistance dogs are allowed in accommodations and on camping pitches where dogs are permitted. In addition, assistance dogs may accompany their owners in most facilities on the park, with the exception of the swimming pool.

What can I expect from a motorhome pitch? 

Our motorhome pitches are specially designed for motorhomes and have a hard surface, for example gravel or concrete-grass pavers. This keeps your motorhome firm and stable. The remaining part of the pitch is usually grass, so you can also sit comfortably outside.

If there is only one pitch/accommodation left that I want, do I still have to pay the preferred rate? 

If the last relevant pitch/accommodation is your preference, the preferred rate will also be applied here. Due to changes and/or cancellations, other pitches/accommodations may become available. Reservations without a preference can in that case be moved at any time.

How can I change my address details? 

You can simply enter your new address details while making your online booking. As long as the combination of your last name and email address matches what we have on file, the address will be automatically updated in your guest record. You can also easily change the address details in My RCN under 'My details'.

Can I play mini or adventure golf in the park?

A number of RCN holiday parks have adventure mini-golf courses.

Golf clubs and balls are available at reception during opening hours. Check with the park for availability and opening times.

Can I rent bicycles at an RCN holiday park? 

At all Dutch RCN holiday parks and at some parks in France and Germany you can rent bicycles to explore the surrounding area. Depending on the park, different types of bicycles are available, such as city bikes, children's bikes, or e-bikes.

Availability and options vary by park. Check with the reception, consult the RCN app, or view the park page for more information.

How do I reserve a bowling lane?

You reserve the bowling lane through the restaurant at the holiday park. This can be done by the hour and is subject to availability.

Are there wellness facilities at the RCN holiday parks?

Some RCN holiday parks have wellness facilities, such as a sauna, hammam, or massage. These facilities are available at RCN Belledonne, Val de Cantobre and La Bastide en Ardèche and can be reserved per hour at the reception.

In addition, some accommodations have private wellness facilities. Check the accommodation page for the available amenities.

Can I book a tennis or padel court at the park? 

If there is a tennis or padel court at the park, you can reserve it by the hour.

Rackets and balls are often available for rent or purchase at the reception. Ask the park about options and availability.
