Camping chalet de Horst

This cosy chalet is ideal for a night away or longer ‘back to basics’. Feels like camping but with the comfort of a house. A cycling holiday, a walking holiday or simply something else for a change.


Kitchen

The chalet is furnished with a kitchen block with hob, hot and cold running water, cooker hood, refrigerator, utensils and equipment, filter coffee maker and kettle.

Bedroom

The chalet has sleeping places for a maximum of four people. There is a 140x200 double bed and a bunk bed, with comfortable mattresses, duvets and pillows. There is not enough room for a cot, unfortunately.

Bathroom
The chalet has a toilet and shower.

Outside
The chalet has a sunny terrace outside with a sitting area and parasol, so you can sit in the shade. There is space next to the chalet to park a car.  

Internet and TV
There is a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Miscellaneous
Pets are permitted. The chalet has central heating. Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation. Special cleaning costs apply (€25).

Het Grote Bos
Ik kom in dit park sinds mijn geboorte al. Ik ga hier graag altijd even of het nu voor een paar nachten is of een dag, graag er even uit. Het wandelen door de bossen geeft mij altijd rust en het Grote Bos voelt altijd als een tweede huis. Dit keer heb ik 2 nachtjes geboekt in de chalet, voor het aantal nachtjes prima. Alleen de matras is wel erg zacht in dit accommodatie en daardoor niet goed geslapen, omdat ik de bodem van het bed voelde. Daarom heb ik besloten om de overgebleven nacht toch weer thuis door te brengen in mijn eigen bed ipv in de chalet. Voor de rest prima accommodatie voor kort verblijf.

Beautiful place to stay but adequate services
The park itself is lovely, with plenty of scenery and spaces to roam. The chalet surpassed our expectations, and it was a comfortable and peace stay. My pet peeve is that the employees are young and therefore, the service receive was inadequate and sometimes unprofessional. In the food spaces, especially by the pool the employees were never readily available and almost seemed annoyed when you requested to buy things. On top of this, they have two lovely slides which are unattended. This causes much chaos and incidents, with multiple persons sliding down on more than one occasion. Outside of the lovely older gentlemen in the snack bar who delivered excellent customer service, I feel the rest of the employees fell below standard and were quite unhelpful. (And with exception to reception staff). I would stay here again, but would prioritise bringing my own food as to not have to constantly beg the employees to purchase things. From a negligence standard, someone should be monitoring the slides at all times. Amazing onsite activity called “hang on” which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Prachtige locatie en heel vriendelijk personeel, alleen de bedden waren super oncomfortabel en totaal geen kastruimte in de gekozen accomodatie.
