The former island, now peninsula, of Goeree-Overflakkee has retained much of its rural charm. This will become evident as you cycle or walk through the wide open polders, bulb fields and plough lands, and pass charming villages and beautiful farmhouses. Cross the Brouwersdam and visit Zeeland with its many tourist attractions.

Toppershoedje is within walking distance from Ouddorp, a beach resort with a charming village centre. Stellendam is an old fishing village with a harbour. Breathe in the atmosphere of the traditional fishing village of Stellendam and sample fresh fish, once the main source of income on the island.

Deltapark Neeltje Jans at the Oosterscheldedam in Zeeland is definitely worth a visit. The water pavilion, Delta Expo and seal show are simply fantastic.
