The whole flat area of RCN Belledonne Belledone is 5 hectares large.

From the most camping pitches you have a view at the surrounding Alpine Summits.

The camping pitches are provided with electricity (10 amperes) and there is always a water tap point nearby.

They are all shady pitches, often set out by a hedge.

There are 2 excellent equipped sanitary buildings scattered on the area with facilities for babies. You find a washing machine in every building.

Use of WiFi is free.

Good location for exploring

All round pleasant stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities kept clean. Only irritation was no hot water at night for showers even though sink taps dud have hot water.

Great stay

We had a great stay. Facilities are fantastic. Loved the pool. Restaurant food was really good with attentive service. Toilets and shower block always clean. Thoroughly recommend.

Good, but could do better!

Booking is easy, booking in on arrival is also easy and trouble-free. Access to our pitch was extremely difficult due to the hedges on the main drive around the site being allowed to grow excessively. The on-site restaurant os good, but the male waiter needs to go on a customer service training course. He ignored us, despite pre-booking on the first occasion, and then on the second occasion he gave our pre-booked table to someone else. Other staff were obviously annoyed with him. Also, some of our food was under-cooked on the first occasion, but we played safe the second time with pizzas and that was much better.

Marmotte camping

My father and I based ourselves at RCN Belledonne during our trip for my dad’s birthday and my ride in the Marmotte. The site was well laid out, clean and the food super. Dad made use of the pool whilst I cycled and I’ll hopefully be back soon.

Camping in the Alps

Lovely stay, calm, quiet and good kids activities. Manager very approachable, staff lovely and site very well maintained. Easy access to great 'green route' cycling and cable cars to accessible walks in the mountains. Pool a little chilly!

Lovely site in a good location

Good location perfect for cyclists. Family friendly, clean well maintained facilities. Good food in the restaurant, unfortunately the ran out of tartiflette which was disappointing. The live band which played on the Friday evening was great entertainment

Beautiful site in excellent location

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent site with great amenities. Some of the pitches are not suitable for larger units. It would be helpful to identify which pitches are suitable and match caravans to these in advance.

RCN Belledonne

Great location for my trip to watch the TDF. Close enough to easily access Alpe d'Huez / Bourg d'Oisan but far enough away from the madness. Site clean and well maintained. Camping spots are in the trees, so shady, which was a blessing given the extremely hot weather. Facilities great although the shop could possibly be a little bigger. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience and I will probably be back again.
