Fun camping holiday at lovely relaxed campsite
We had a lovely time at this campsite. The pitch was very spacious and it is set in such a beautiful surrounding with mountains and trees every way that you look. The pool is so lovely - our children had so much fun. The staff were incredibly friendly. We’ve met lots of Dutch people beforehand on holiday in France but have never stayed on a Dutch campsite before. The people are soooo friendly and fun to meet and talk to. Our children made some wonderful friends from the Netherlands at this campsite. We were the only English people there sometimes but it didn’t matter at all. The Dutch are so brilliant at speaking English. Puts us to shame really. We can speak French quite well but didn’t really have cause to use it here 😂😂 There is a lovely play area and lots of places to play sports with friends and family in the cooler parts of the day. My only criticism would be that our shower block was not very clean at times and it is a bit dated/in need of repair. The shower block at the top of the campsite is newer and really nice so it might be worth updating the other shower block too? The restaurant and pool snack bar serves lovely food and drinks. We ate at the restaurant twice and really loved the food. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We camped in a tent as we were in a bit of a budget this year but would definitely consider a chalet or lodge at an RCN site next time.
