Camping by the river
For extra £30, Having a private shower and loo, also washing up facilities were great. Toilets had a seat on. And you can wear normal swimming shorts here as it’s a Dutch owned company. I’d recommend this place.

Lovely setting, friendly staff, great for stopover
Very friendly welcome after long journey and all staff throughout stay smily and helpful. Only a single night stopover. Pitch was fine for that purpose, despite noise from people visiting the bins late at night! Private facilities were very clean. All restaurant tables were reserved for eating, could have done with a few more outdoor tables just for drinks as it’s a lovely setting and nicely done. Weather was not on our side for the pool fun, but kids enjoyed the time they did have. Generally all very clean in the pool area, but a few loose slabs and broken bits that need attention. Biggest disappointment was the lazy river being out of service, that was part of the reason for booking this site!

Wonderful stay at great location
We had a fabulous time at RCN le Moulin de la Pique - will definitely return again. Great facilities for kids, a little crowded at pool and slides but had lots of fun with our 5 year old grandson.
Highlight was evening meals in the restaurant, food was excellent but service was fantastic, very friendly and we had great time with one of the waitresses Aafke who looked after us and even gave Dutch lessons to our grandson.
Highly recommended and location great for local places of interest including the lovely Sarlat.

Hot but enjoyable 6 nights
We had lovely time. The pool and parasols were brilliant when the temperature got too high. The only problem with the pool is the lack of handrails in the outdoor pools. The first step is very high for anyone below 5 foot tall. Everyone was really friendly. Our meals in the bistro were enjoyable. The only concern we have is that practically all of the staff were very new which caused delays and the atmosphere was not as relaxed as it was at the same time the previous year. Esther did a brilliant job of trying to train everyone while running a reasonably busy shift. We noticed something similar the previous week at RCN vendee so perhaps it would be better to get staff in weeks earlier especially those who need full training. We loved having private facilities however the polycarbonate roof made everything almost too hot to touch. Having paid a lot more money for the pitch we expected the ground to be in a better condition - it was uneven with ruts. We hope to be back in a couple fees after trying out some of your Netherlands sites. We were pleased to see how much we could recycled and that our pitch came with 2 bins. We were surprised that a toilet roll was not supplied
