Pitches

At RCN Laacher See

The RCN Laacher See terrain covers seven hectares. The pitches are supplied with electricity. Many also have a view of the crater lake. The camping site is in a sunny location, but the trees and bushes offer shade where needed. There are two well-furnished wash and toilet facility buildings on the terrain with baby rooms. There is a washing machine and dryer in each building.

Booking

It’s easy to book your holiday online, by telephone or in the park itself. A booking is final once it has been confirmed by the park.

 

Arrival and departure 

You can occupy your pitch after 1 pm on the agreed day of arrival. It should be vacated by 12 pm on the day you leave. 

 

The pitch 

You can place the following on one of our pitches: 

  • 1 bungalow tent or 1 collapsible caravan 
    or 1 caravan with canopy/awning or 1 camper van
  • Plus a maximum of 1 small tent.

Six people per pitch are allowed, plus children up to three years. One pitch per family. An additional tent (max. 5m2) may be erected free of charge.

 

Bookings, and what it all costs
  • Children up to three years of age can stay free of charge.
  • There are also no extra reservation charges with RCN. They are included in the price.
  • Tourist tax can vary per municipality and may change in the course of the year. The current rate is available on request and is also stated in the invoice. The rate will not be increased after the booking has been made. 

 

Pets

Pets, like a dog, are permitted if kept on a lead and vaccinated (max. one per pitch). There is a supplement of € 5.50 per pet per night in Germany. 

 

Preference supplement

If you want to book a specific pitch, there is a preference supplement of € 25 per pitch.

 

Means of payment on the camping 

If any amount is still outstanding, you must pay it immediately on arrival. 

You can pay with a Dutch ‘pin’ card or cash. We also accept credit cards at reception.

Free WiFi

WiFi is free for all devices.

 
Free booking changes

You can change a booking for free for one of our other parks if it is for the same period and subject to availability. Just get in contact with us on 085 0400 700. The only extra costs will be if there is a difference in price. No refunds based on price differences will be made. 


If you make a change more than once, or within three days before arrival, there will be a charge of € 35.

  

Cancellation

If you haven’t taken any cancellation insurance and can’t make use of the accommodation or pitch reserved for you, you will have to pay the following amounts:

Cancellation more than three months before the arrival date, 15% of the agreed price, more than two months, 50%; more than one month, 75%; within one month before, 90%; and on the day of arrival itself, 100%.
