This park has a very nice and natural setting on acres of mature woodland with lots to keep the kids entertained. There are several mini playgrounds throughout the park making it fun to explore. The beach and the playground on the lake was definitely the star attraction, our kids just loved it, while us adults could watch on from under the shade of a tree or sunbathe on the sand. The shop in the park was well stocked with an array of food, toys, clothing and gifts and the prices were surprisingly competitive. We also hired bikes from the park and enjoyed cycling around the park and to the nearby villages and forest trails nearby. We choose a mobile homes for our stay, which was on a nice quiet and spacious plot which came with patio furniture, umbrella and a garden shed for storing our bikes and beach inflatables etc. The home was very clean and well stocked with all kitchen utensils and the clothes horse was very handy for drying towels and swimwear at the end of the day. The only negatives were the few ants that visited our kitchen counter occasionally and the lack of information in English. All of the staff spoke very good english and having everything in dutch did give a more authentic feel but it would been nice to have an English version of restaurant menus and programme of events etc as we probably missed out on a few activities because we could not read the language but otherwise a very enjoyable place to stay. 😊

Neatness of the grounds / hygiene
Lovely short break
We only stayed for two nights but it was perfect for us. With a baby in the family the easily accessible snack bar and supermarket were particularly welcome!
