At RCN de Schotsman, you have all the space you need for your tent or caravan. All pitches are surrounded by greenery and have a socket for electricity.

 

Use of WiFi is free. 

 

Are you coming with a campervan? Then book a camper pitch. On this type of pitch campers are not allowed.

Der Stellplatz war sehr klein, der Boden uneben und mit Baumwurzeln durchzogen. Das hat uns nicht gefallen.

Great stay
Your site is located in a lovely part of the Netherlands and we had a very pleasant holiday. The outdoor pool was very good. The shower and toilet block are smart and kept clean. The very localised children's spaces are good. The away from pitch car park also adds an extra level of safety for the children. I will be staying again and I would recommend. The pitch is 'just big enough' but sadly the pitch next to us expanded beyond their space. I believe a simple improvement would be to give a very clear marking where each pitch begins and ends. The chemical disposal (elsan) is a little below par, but perfectly functional.

Three weeks at de Schotsman site in Zeeland
This was our third visit. We came from England with our touring caravan in September. Our main interest was cycling. We dined at your restaurant in the evening and liked it. Whilst the new reception and restaurant building was good we missed the supermarket which provided all our groceries. We also were surprised to find we needed to take our rubbish to the facility near the exit gate. Also there was no grey water disposal arrangement other than taking it to the shower block. It would have been helpful if we had been told this on arrival. The other caravan users in our area were “all season” owners from Germany and were excellent neighbours. We enjoyed watching the windsurfers on windy days. Using our ACSI Card helped with the cost. Shopping in the area still required use of a debit card instead of a credit card at some outlets. No doubt we will go back to Schotsman and next time will go in June or July as September proved rather wet!
