All recreation employees, interns and managers in RCN parks in the Netherlands, France and Germany are welcome.

A spectacular welcome to RCN for you, the RCN Recreation heroes of 2024.
You’ll all be starting this new season in the recreation teams in one of our Dutch, French or German parks. In order to prepare well for this, RCN Holiday Parks is organizing a Recreation Training Weekend, when, in a short time, you will be trained to work in a recreation team. It is a weekend with a full programme, but lots of conviviality.
It will be an enjoyable experience, which you will be able to put to good use during your part-time or summer job or internship. The training is interactive and you will be taught theory and practical skills. You will experience what it is like to stand in front of a group and you will also put yourself in the position of holiday park guest.

What you will be doing

on the training weekend

  • Getting to know your colleagues and manager
  • Getting to know the RCN mascots  Club Sammy
  • Learning everything about recreation work at RCN Holiday Parks
  • How do I present an activity?
  • What is an Adventure Theatre at RCN Holiday Parks and how do I do that?
  • How do I organize and present spectacular shows and the Fun2Dance and how do I organize sports and/or play activities?
  • What do we mean by hospitality and how do I deal with common situations?
  • How can I prepare well for my part-time or summer job or internship at RCN Holiday Parks?
  • You will be given handy ‘tips and tricks’, so that you are well prepared for a top season.
  • You will receive a complete training provided by very enthusiastic and experienced recreation managers. They have years of experience in recreation work and want to make you just as enthusiastic about it as they are.
  • Once you have completed the weekend, you will receive a special certificate of participation.
