Visiting a town of village while on holiday in the Eifel is well worth the effort. There are lots of romantic places to visit.
Monschau
Scarcely four kilometres from the German-Belgian border in the narrow, deep valley of the Rur, is the small town of Monschau. There are beautiful half-timbered houses and an old, convivial town centre.
Trier
Trier is the oldest city in Germany with wonderful things to see, many of which are Roman. There are also lots of interesting little shops and stores.
Cochem
Its location on the Moselle, the vineyards and the countryside means that Cochem is definitely worth a visit.
