You can find the Treasure Chest at RCN de Jagerstee, RCN Laacher See, and RCN La Bastide en Ardèche. The chest is located near the recycling area.

You can just unpack items from it. Returning something? That's not necessary, but feel free to contribute to the Treasure Chest whenever you want. This way, the circle of giving and receiving keeps moving.

The story

How did the Treasure Chest come about?

At RCN Holiday Parks, we work hard to create unique holiday experiences with an eye for the world around us. All our parks are located directly in or near beautiful natural areas, which we want to protect with care. An important part of this mission is minimizing our residual waste.

 

In addition to being sustainable by extending the lifespan of products through reuse, the Treasure Chest itself is also a model of sustainability. This unique cabinet is made from reused train parts. If you look closely, you can see train ceilings, doors, and windows in it. A circular cabinet that not only gives items a second life but also reuses materials, thus contributing to a more sustainable world.
