Your role
Together with your colleagues from the restaurant team, you will do everything possible as a kitchen employee to make our guests feel even more at home in our beautiful holiday park. You’ll make sure they can perfectly enjoy great lunches, snacks or dinners and that they have an unforgettable holiday.
What you will be doing
There’s always enough to do in the kitchen, so a good deal of variety plus great working colleagues! You’ll assist our kitchen team with all the activities that come up. Together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure everything is prepared and put in the right place (mise en place). Use your skills to take responsibility for RCN’s excellent preparation standards. You will be serving dishes from the RCN menu, deep-frying, preparing pizzas and serving guests at the snack bar. Part of your duties will naturally include the washing-up and kitchen cleaning in accordance with the HACCP regulations. We will give you enough space and guidance so you can learn all the ins and outs of the catering profession.
Who we are
RCN Val de Cantobre lies in the middle of the unspoilt Les Grands Causses Regional Natural Park with breath-taking, panoramic views over limestone highlands and wooded hills. The terraces are situated on the southern side of the mountain and always in the sun! The surroundings are perfect for cyclists and hikers. But for those who like adventure there are plenty of sporting challenges such as canoeing, canyoning, paragliding or extreme bungee jumping with leaps from 46 to 107 metres height!
What we are looking for
A lot! But that’s what makes it so challenging and instructive. Working in a holiday park demands flexibility and hard work. Needless to say, you understand that this job will entail working at weekends and on public holidays, all during the holiday season. Experience is not required, but always welcome!

- are a real go-getter.
- are energetic, enthusiastic and motivated
- have an interest in kitchen work/cooking
- are presentable and hospitable
- are eager to learn

- knowledge of French, Dutch and/or German is not essential but is a nice-to-have
- can provide a recent Certificate of Conduct
- are available for a minimum of 6 weeks in July and August
What we offer
Working in a holiday atmosphere for a growing organisation! A job full of variety at a fantastic location. We will give you a lot of autonomy and self-responsibility. As an employee with us you’ll have lots of space for new ideas and excellent growth opportunities for self-development. You’ll be in the countryside, meeting lots of pleasant visitors as part of a tight team of pleasant colleagues at one of France’s most enjoyable holiday parks. Accommodation at the park is possible but not mandatory. If you stay in the park, you will be charged a small contribution. You will be working under a French contract. The French working conditions for campsites (Collective Labour Agreement known as HPA=Hôtellerie de Plein Air) will apply.
